Venue Switch from NASS

3 July 2007  |
The Freerange Sports Optics 4X Series round at NASS this weekend has been cancelled, but we have arranged a last minute swap to Ringwood Park, Staveley near Chesterfield on the same date. Due to the torrential and consistent rain fall they have experienced in the South West, the showground are very concerned about ground damage caused by the build and the events themselves. With the ground being so water logged they simply could not afford to run the risk of staging the event. The organisers have tried everything possible to proceed with these events and regret the decision that has been reached, however this is out of our hands and beyond our control. We hope you guys understand and we regret any inconvenience caused. The race will take place on Sunday 8th July at Chesterfield Downhill BMX track. The track rides well even in very wet conditions, although the long range forecast is for dry weekend, so we should be in for great day of racing. Entries for the NASS event will be transferred to the Chesterfield race. Full details of the event and directions are now www.nps4x.com More info on the weekend The winner of the Junior Class this weekend will win Mazrocchi WC4X forks. All Category winners get goodies from ODI and Freerange Sport Optics Glasses and a special edition glass trophy for the top 3 in all categories. The Elite field will be short on 4X stars this weekend due to the World Cup 4X race at Schladming. Expect to see to see new names on that podium and with £350 in prize money, its going to be interesting to see who takes home the money.
